A tribal revenue sharing fund is about to run out of money, the California Legislative Analyst's Office said in a report. Tribes with Class III gaming compacts contribute revenues into three different funds. As for the Special Distribution Fund, it will run out of money by the end of 2015, the report said. The annual shortfall there was also about $30 million. These funds have received less money because some of the larger gaming tribes negotiated new compacts that required them to contribute to the state's General Fund.
