'Laughlin has long been a popular destination for summer getaways to take in watersports on the Colorado River and the excitement of the casinos,' said Sean Hammond, vice president and general manager of Aquarius and Edgewater. 'We look forward to reopening in time for people to enjoy their trips to Laughlin, while also providing a safe, healthy atmosphere.'
The Aquarius and Edgewater properties have said the two have implemented broad safety measures under the company's new 'Golden Commitment' standards, as part of Golde Entertainment.
These measures include sanitation protocols at every touchpoint, from the casinos, restaurants, and bars to the elevators and rooms.

Per guidelines set by the state of Nevada, Aquarius and Edgewater said they will also limit property occupancies to 50 percent.
All health and safety measures are subject to change based on any updates from the State of Nevada.
While some areas of the resorts will be closed during an initial reopening phase, most of the restaurants and the main casino floors will reopen.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Situated on the banks of the Colorado River, Aquarius Casino Resort is the largest hotel in Laughlin, Nevada. With 1,906 hotel rooms and suites split between two 18-floor towers, Aquarius offers sweeping views of the Colorado River and the Laughlin Strip through floor-to-ceiling windows. Edgewater Casino Resort's newest restaurant Wild Style Burgers & Pizza is located on the main casino level just north of the Edge Lounge. Burger ingredients include freshly ground beef, plus a top-it-yourself condiment bar that offers lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, Pico de Gallo and jalapeño slices. Pizzas are 20-inches in diameter and feature an imported cheese blend plus a variety of additional toppings. STAFF REVIEW – 2012
The Edgewater’s Grand Buffet claim’s to be the “Biggest Buffet in Laughlin” with 150 choices. Harrah’s Fresh Market Square Buffet has been voted the Best Buffet on Casino Row, but frankly, if you are not at the extreme end of Casino Row, The Aquarius Windows On The River Buffet is one of the best buffets on the Colorado River. Bar none.
The staff is good about freshness. At Windows On The River Buffet, the food is never sitting there for hours. Hot food is hot, and selections are diverse. The dinner buffet featured free beer, wine, and margaritas. At Brunch, you get two free drinks from the little bar that is set off to the side. BBQ Ribs are a favorite of locals and visitors alike at Windows On The River Buffet.
HINT: At ALL Laughlin Buffet’s Fridays and Saturdays are always your best choice, when there is a line and traffic is high. The short waits will assure food is turned over and swapped out quickly. Avoid Sunday dinner, but Breakfast / Brunch are usually fine.

Yes, the selection of food is somewhat smaller than Edgewater or Harrah’s, but you should not be disappointed. Caveat: Despite the name of the buffet, you will only be able to see the River out the windows on one side of the very large space. If you want to hang out and let some parties pass you by, you can request to be seated at the windows overlooking the River.
